Math Behind Machine Learning

A seminar about Math behind sciences was organized by AAC on 30th March,2019 coordination with Mr.G.V.K.Madhav, who works for HPE(Hewlett-Packard Enterprise) in the HPC(High-Performance Computing) R&D division. This seminar was attended by students interested in entering the Data Sciences field.

Sir introduced students to data science and its applications in various sector.He further proceeded with Tensors data structure which represents multi-way data that is found in many modern applications, highlighting its uses for example in data mining, recommender systems, and health informatics. Tensor factorization can be used to find a low rank representation of sparse data, which provides insights not usually obvious in the original dimensionality.
